Summary
After a long time of failing to load GameLoft finally got around to fixing it, and the results… very average.

Story
Damned if I knew. Set at the time of Men In Black 3, both in 1969 and present day as of the movie, the so called sandbox open world gameplay of a half village SIM half minor insignificant RPG isn’t the most conductive towards linear storytelling… spoiler alert – the individual story elements going on isn’t worth comming back to your home world over.

Graphics
My largest fault with the game is that GameLoft only did everything expected of them… but no more. Graphically the game fits the mood, set the tone and does its job… that’s it. Nothing about the game leaps out at you, or is memorable… it’s a Men in Black game, no more or less.

Controls/Feel
Simple touch controls. What it lacks is the ability to control multiple agents on the streets and in old school RPG battles… a very damning flaw since fights quickly become impossible to tackle alone. There is a support option, where you can call Tommy Lee Jones’ Agent K you can only do it once every 24 hours… Also while you can recruit agents to tackle off screen missions you can’t add them to your missions with the dog content fights to even the odds. This makes fights slow burdens you need to build a ton of healing stuff and gear to overcome. What a bother.

Misc
As I said you can form a team… expect long constant grinding of their three rpg stats, sending them out on missions just to clear tasks. Again having the ability to use them in RPG fights would have been nice, but mostly represents a missed opportunity.

Final Thoughts
It’s ok as far as village Sims go, but does nothing to make a splash or set itself apart from every other village SIM… though the rpg style elements, even limited as they are, do give the game some originality… some.

Overall another add on for village SIM fans… being able to play even if offline helps in me recommending it btw.

Pros – Pretty solid hybrid game with an emphasis of task completion and “village” SIM like game mechanics.
Cons – Another tall glass of long grindy gameplay
